UMI partnered with the Uganda Heart Institute (UHI) to deliver a transformative Leadership and Management Training program. Scheduled from May 26 to June 10, 2025, this 10-day initiative aimed to equip UHI staff with the skills and knowledge necessary to drive excellence in healthcare delivery. The training program boasted a robust curriculum that covered essential topics, including:

1. Foundational Leadership and Management: Introduction to management and leadership principles
2. Effective Communication: Developing strong interpersonal skills
3. Mindset and Critical Thinking: Fostering innovative problem-solving
4. Personal Growth and Branding: Enhancing professional development
5. Customer-Centric Care: Improving client management and satisfaction
6. Empowering Teams: Delegation and empowerment strategies
7. Strategic Decision Making: Problem-solving and decision-making techniques
8. Resource Management: Planning and budgeting cycle
9. Performance Excellence: Performance management and evaluation
10. Innovation and Time Management: Driving transformation and productivity
