Assoc. Prof. Aduwo Jennifer Rose is the Dean School of Distance Learning and Information Technology, at Uganda Management Institute. She works as a Principal Consultant, Information Technology at UMI as a full time staff. She has served as a member and technical adviser on many ICT related recruitment panels nationwide and other various UMI Institutional organs and committees. She is a member of Senate and the Institute Finance Committee. She is a member of ISACA that is the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, a worldwide association of Information system governance professionals, Kampala, Uganda Chapter. She is the president for Governance and Finance for the Association of African Development Learning Centres an affiliation of the Global Development Learning Network coordinated by the World Bank.
She has over 15 years practical experience in training, consultancy and research in issues relating to Information Communication Technology(ICT) and Machine Learning. She has been a team leader of a number of ICT related consultancies undertaken by the Institute. She has also played the role of a rapporteur on an International World Bank Conference on Education –Lifelong Learning and the Knowledge Economy in Stuttgart – Germany.
