UMI to Roll out Uganda Secondary Education Expansion Project
Uganda Management Institute is set to roll out multi billion project aimed at skilling Secondary school leaders in the areas of Leadership and Management. The project is funded by Global Partners in Education Grant. USEEP support by a GPE grant is aimed at improving learning outcomes for learners in the secondary school thanks to a revised curriculum and the provision of instructional materials to boost teaching competencies.
UMI on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Sports is set to conduct training for Cluster Centre Coordinators and School Administrators under the Uganda Secondary Education Expansion Project (USEEP) covering all regions of Uganda. UMI will facilitate the coordination of the following: –

- Training 100 (one hundred) Cluster Centre Coordinators from the selected 100 cluster centres in Management and Coordination skills through a fourteen-day residential training program at UMI.
- Training of 6,600 school administrators (3,300 Head teachers and 3,300 Deputy Head teachers) from 3,300 Government and Private owned Secondary Schools in Uganda in Institutional Leadership and Management through a ten-day residential training program hosted at secondary schools designated as cluster centres.
