Uganda Management Institute signed an MOU with Accountability Lab on Friday 23^rd September 2022 at the Institute Premises. UMI conducts intensive in-service training to develop management capacity within the Ugandan public service. The UMI offers a blend of short and long courses for middle, senior and executive level managers; facilitates conferences, seminars and workshops; and provides research, consultancy and distance learning services.

The goal of this MOU is to create synergies between the parties in our mutual quest to create and sustain systems of integrity; and the agreement is based on the respective competencies and capacities of the two organisations. It is recognised that by entering into an agreement with each other, both parties may be in a better position to address issues of integrity in Uganda.

Accountability Lab is registered as a 501(c)3 status non-profit organization in the United States, and has locally-registered entities in DRC, Liberia, Mali, Mexico, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa, Zimbabwe. They aim to catalyse a new generation of active citizens and responsible leaders around the globe. They train, mentor and resource civil servants and citizens to strengthen systems of accountability and to unleash positive social and economic change.
