School of Business And Management
This School is the largest school in the Institute. It is mandated to build capacity that empowers staff from both the private and NGO sectors to become more productive and make their organizations competitive in the highly dynamic business environment. With a firm foundation of competent, experienced and highly qualified faculty members, the school is in the process of spreading its influence beyond the confines of the institute. This is intended to increase relevance and value to the community through collaborations, research and innovation. The need to address problems faced by society currently lies at the centre of the aspirations of the school. It is on the foregoing that all programmes developed or reviewed put great emphasis on the societal demands through the incorporation of stakeholders’ input to supplement the expert knowledge of the faculty. The current staffing level stands at 28 full-time teaching or academic and administrative staff complemented by a large pool of those working on a part-time terms basis who are in excess of 100 in number. The expertise of the staff members is in a number of disciplines including; Management, Finance and Accounting, Procurement, logistics, marketing and Human resources Management.
