Robert Agwot Komakech is a Research Fellow at Uganda Management Institute. He is skilled in academic writing, research management and curriculum development. Komakech is also well known for his transformative teaching and research, professionalism, transparency and integrity with excellent ability to communicate knowledge and demonstrate high level of team work as well as providing counseling, career guidance and mentorship to students and staff. He has published in Local and International referred Journals within his areas of academic competence and research interest.
Robert is currently serving as Editorial Board Team, Advances in Politics and Economics (APE)-USA; Guest Reviewer at Athens Journal of Education, Greece; Associate Reviewer at Africa Education Evaluation, Zeetarz Publishing; Guest Reviewer at African Educational Research Journal (AERJ), Nigeria; an Active Member of Uganda Textbook Academic and Non-Fiction Authors Association (UTANA)-Uganda; and Member of Institute of Procurement Professionals of Uganda (IPPU), Uganda. He is a Trainer of the Appropriate Technology Based-Entrepreneurship Training (ATET) project of the UNESCO-UNITWIN (Global Network of Universities for Sustainable Development) chaired by Handong Global University from South Korea. Before joining UMI, he served as the Head of Department, Business Studies; Fieldwork Coordinator, Weekend Coordinator and Founding Deputy Director, Center for International Cooperation at Kumi University. He also worked with Public Affairs Center Uganda (PAC-UG) as a District Contact Person especially on Public Expenditure Tracking (PET). Komakech has close to 15 years of progressive teaching experience at Secondary and University level.
