MICRO FINANCE TRAINING OF TRAINERS COURSE (MFTOT 9) - BLENDED COURSE [ONLINE AND VIDEO CONFERENCE)
The Distance Learning Department (DLD) will jointly run the Microfinance Training of Trainers course. This is a blended [combination of video conference and e-learning (computer based)] sessions aimed at equipping participants with training skills to enable them train others in microfinance or run their own microfinance organizations effectively. The course is jointly organized and partially sponsored by the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), the World Bank and Tokyo Development Learning Center (TDLC). This interactive microfinance distance learning course (MFDL) developed by UNCDF is the core learning material for study. The course has received high rating from participants and has become popular in many countries. The participants will have an on-line tutor to assist them with the course.
Micro-finance is recognized as an effective development intervention that enhances access to financial services by low-income individuals.
On successful completion of the course, one is eligible of being engaged as facilitator for future such trainings. This can open up opportunities for the participants.
