PUBLIC POLICY DIALOGUE ON RE-DIRECTING UGANDA'S TOURISM POTENTIAL TO EFFECTIVELY CONTRIBUTE TO UGANDA’S SOCIO-ECONOMIC ASPIRATIONS.

The Steering Committee of Uganda Development Policy Management Forum (UDPMF) and Institute Research Centre invites interested stakeholders to attend a public policy Dialogue on Re-directing Uganda's Tourism potential to effectively contribute to Uganda’s Socio-Economic aspirations, scheduled for Thursday 23rd March 2017, at 8.00 a.m in the in the Video Conference Room – Global Distance Learning Center at UMI main campus in Kampala

The half day dialogue is among the series of debates organized by the Forum aimed at enabling the public to contribute to the current debate on the potential of Tourism to effectively contribute to Uganda’s Socio-Economic aspirations.
The Purpose of this debate is to:

a) Provide a forum for informed evidence-based discussions on tourism in Uganda among academicians, civil society actors, policy makers and the public.

b) Identify concrete, evidence based options for development of Tourism related policies in the country.
