Ms PROJECT SOFTWARE (FACE-TO-FACE)

RATIONALE:
The course introduces participants to the tools and techniques of how to use Microsoft (MS) project software for
project scheduling, monitoring and evaluation.

TARGET GROUP:
Project Managers, Administrators, Coordinators, and Trainers in Project Planning and Management.
OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Create project schedules, manage and monitor projects activities using Project 2007
Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and assign resources.
Prepare accurate and professional reports

Project scheduling techniques/methods; CPM/PERT
Creating, scheduling, and managing project activities
Creating and scheduling tasks
Creating and using a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Creating and assigning resources
Creating and using calendars
Filtering, grouping, sorting, working with task views, project baselines
Tracking and updating projects
Identifying features of earned value tables
Identifying Gantt Chart Wizard options that can be selected to format the Gantt Bar
Working with Time Scale Dialog Box Options
Identifying options to customize the Network Diagram view
Customizing predefined report
