Mbarara Centre
Uganda Management Institute has been running this centre for the last 4 years. The courses offered are:

Post Graduate Diplomas:
The Post graduate Diplomas are post experience programs and are designed for middle and senior level Managers or those aspiring to occupy such positions in Private enterprises, Central Government ministries, Local Governments and Non-Governmental Organisations. The Post Graduate Diplomas on offer are;
  • Post graduate Diploma in Public administration and Management
  • Post graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management
  • Post graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management
  • Post graduate Diploma in Financial Management
  • Post graduate Diploma in Procurement and Supply chain Management
Minimum entry requirements:
  • A good University degree from a recognised University or a recognised relevant professional qualification
  • Working Experience of at least two years
Short Course

Masters Degree
The center also offers the Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Masters in Management Studies(MMS) with a bias in various disciplines.

Enquiries/Application
Application forms for long courses are available at shs. 20,000= per set. Forms can also be downloaded from our website www.umi.ac.ug .Those who would have downloaded forms will pay for them on submission. The completed application forms together with copies of academic transcripts must be submitted to the addresses given below not later than
NB: The Post graduate Diploma courses are modularised. Participants may complete the whole course within 2 semesters of continuous study or within a period of 3 years if the participant is unable to complete within one academic year.
